Sales Support Engineer (HVAC/ ACMV)

Job Description

Assist in managing incoming leads and inquiries, ensuring prompt response and proper routing to the appropriate sales representatives.
Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including data entry, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and preparing sales-related documentation.
Assist in creating and formatting maintenance proposals, including assembling necessary documentation, cost estimates, and service details.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details using CRM software or other tools.
Liaise with clients to schedule appointments, gather information, and relay important details between clients and the sales team.
Conduct follow-up calls or emails to gather feedback, answer queries, and ensure client satisfaction after proposal submissions or sales interactions.
Generate regular sales reports, performance metrics, and activity summaries for the sales team and management.
Work closely with internal departments such as engineering, operations, and finance to coordinate project handovers, invoicing, and other operational aspects.
Develop a basic understanding of ACMV systems and maintenance processes to facilitate effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Cultivate positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service and demonstrating responsiveness to their needs.
Maintain and update the customer database, ensuring accuracy of contact information, interactions, and project statuses.
Assist the sales team with various ad hoc tasks, such as market research, competitor analysis, and preparing materials for client presentations.
Any adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement

Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or Business Administration.
Previous experience in an administrative or sales support role is preferred. Experience in the HVAC or maintenance industry is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
Meticulous attention to detail when handling documentation, data entry, and client communication.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Ability to learn new software tools quickly.
A customer-focused mindset with a willingness to assist and support clients throughout the sales process.
Resourcefulness in finding solutions to challenges that arise during the sales support process.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
Openness to learning about ACMV systems and the HVAC industry to enhance support to the sales team.
