Purchasing Executive (3-6 months)

Job Description

Generate and issue purchase orders to suppliers and follow up on delivery lead time
Create, maintain and update vendor master list, product codes and catalogues
Create and carry out vendor evaluation and assessment
Source for new materials and suppliers including price negotiation and payment terms
Ensure that delivery order and invoice are matched against our purchase order and internal order before submitting to Finance Department for processing
Update and file internal orders, local and overseas purchase orders systematically
Co-ordinate with respective departments on all purchasing related matters
Understand our internal control guidelines, the relevant policies and procedures and execute the controls conscientiously

Diploma in Business Admininstration / SCM / Logistics Management or related disicipline
At least 1 year's relevant experience
SAP hands-on experience will be an added advantage
Independent, resourceful and meticulous
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Applicant must be able to commence within September 2021 and commit for at least 3 months. Opportunity for contract extension/conversion to permanent, subject to performance
